Tabloia Mailer #8239

Welcome back, fans! Just in time for the holidays, our own artistic hack, Chris Wisnia, has posted a whole bunch of original art for sale at http://www.comicspace.com/cwisnia/ !!!

There you will find thirty-two listings of published “Ojo” pages, most of which were co-drawn by SAM KIETH! Often the pages are sold as a two-page set, because Chris would draw the original page, and then Sam would photo-copy it and add textures and shading, or even redraw whole panels! Only at http://www.comicspace.com/cwisnia/ !!!

You will also find eighteen listings of published Doris Danger Giant monsters FOR SALE at http://www.comicspace.com/cwisnia/ !! There are numerous giant monster splash pages, and some multiple-page story sets!

More to be posted periodically! Please pop over and check it all out, if nothing else, as an educational tool to see how hack Chris and amazing Sam Kieth worked together on “Ojo!”

SECRET PROJECT REVEALED AT LAST…

THE SPIDER TWINS COMPANION!
A Web Comic and WEEKLY CONTEST – yes, WEEKLY – Beginning in 2008 (that’s next month, fans!)

You may have noticed a few subtle mentions of “The Spider Twins,” way back in Tabloia Weekly Magazine’s letters pages or news columns! (If not, pick up the back issues right away at our “merchandise” page http://chriswisniaarts.com/merchandise.shtml , as they’re sure to be eagerly sought out “first appearance” issues as soon as the web comic hits the web!) In 2008, www.chriswisniaarts.com will be releasing an essential, encyclopedic compendium of masked vigilantes from Crude Bay’s “Spider Twins” era — in “Marvel Universe” or “DC Who’s Who” style! Every week, we will portray a new masked vigilante, and invite you to guess the hero or villain’s super-name! Every week, we will have a drawing for the correct guessers! And EVERY WEEK, a winner will receive a prize postcard, with a personal note of congratulations by me, Rob Oder, and with an original sketch by hack Chris Wisnia!

Don’t delay! Get those brainstorming juices flowing, fans! Who is the villain with a long hard bo staff? Who is the hero with a shaved head and a beaver tail? Who is the villain with a sack full of spherical weapons? Who is the large, overweight heroine in the cat costume? Who is the villain in a red skeleton outfit? Who is the villain who beats his enemies with sausages? You’ll find out … and delight at the knowledgeable detail and disturbing realism … every week!

Look forward to it in 2008 (That’s next month!), fans!
Rob Oder, Editor-in-Chief!
